CPI

Yesterday I spent some time to check out Canada’s inflation rate last year. According to Statistics Canada, last year’s inflation rate for Toronto was 4.2%.‍[Note 1]

Today I went out to get some facial cotton pads because I’m running out of these things. I was shocked when I was told a new pack now costs $18; the same brand used to cost $13 August last year.

This probably has to do with the cost of transportation, but that’s an increase of almost 40%.
